Staff & Services
Our staff is dedicated to:
- Increasing access to quality diabetes education and management services across Colville Reservation
- Developing a standard approach to care and management of diabetes, including screening, based on the current SDPI (Special Diabetes Program for Indians) best practice guidelines, and an adapted to use in the Tribal communities
- Establishing effective community-directed approaches that revolve around the prevention and managing of diabetes related complications
- Developing and promoting cost effective ways of delivering quality diabetes education through life cycle of the grant
Together we can work together to create a healthy lifestyle and improve quality of life of Tribal members.

For any services, you will need a current diabetes prescription, be an enrolled member of a federally recognized Tribe, and be eligible for Indian Health Services. Contact Alana Epperson for pre-approval of services. You can receive these services 1 time per year.
Shoes – we assist clients with $150 credit toward shoes; contact Alana or Charlene for Berg’s referral
Glasses – through Indian Health Services, we assist clients with $150 toward glasses
Dental – through Indian Health Services, we assist clients with $250 toward dental care
